Traditional Cretan Rusk with tomato, feta cheese and oregano

The most well known Cretan Rusk, usually wheat, is also known as "koukouvagia", (owl).
Accompanied with tomato, feta cheese, olive oil, oregano and some salt.

1 Cretan wheat Rusk, 1 ripe tomato, 100gr grated feta cheese, Felea olive oil, oregano and some salt.


  1. Damp the rusk in water
  2. Grate the tomato
  3. Sprinkle some FeleaGoods® Extra Virgin Olive Oil on to the rusk
  4. Add the tomato and the feta cheese
  5. Season with some salt and oregano
  6. Add some more Felea olive oil and serve
